These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CleanerFlow Marketplace website and services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
CleanerFlow Marketplace ("CleanerFlow", "we", "us") operates an online technology platform. CleanerFlow is a venue that connects independent cleaning providers and professionals with the people and companies that need their services.
CleanerFlow is not a cleaning company, is not a party to the agreements made between users, and is not the employer, agent, or representative of any provider, professional, or company. The work is contracted and performed directly between users.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the marketplace.
3. The marketplace
The Services let consumers describe a cleaning need and receive quotes and offers from providers; let providers send offers and complete bookings; let companies post gigs and positions; and let cleaning professionals browse and apply to that work.
CleanerFlow provides the platform, matching, scheduling, and payment tools, but does not supervise, direct, or guarantee the work itself.
4. For consumers
When you request a quote you give providers the information needed to price the job. When you accept an offer you enter into an agreement directly with that provider for the service described, at the agreed price and time.
You agree to provide safe access to the property and accurate information about it. Cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking.
5. For cleaning providers
If you offer services through the marketplace, you represent that you are legally able to provide them, will perform them professionally and safely, and will carry any licenses or insurance required by law. You set your own offers and prices. You are an independent business, not an employee of CleanerFlow.
6. The job board — professionals and companies
Companies may post gigs (one-off, recurring, or trial shifts) and fixed positions. Cleaning professionals may create a profile and apply to that work. Any engagement that results is a direct relationship between the company and the professional.
Cleaning professionals using the job board are independent contractors; CleanerFlow is not their employer and does not control their schedules, methods, or pay beyond providing the platform. Companies are solely responsible for complying with all employment, wage, worker-classification, and tax laws that apply to the people they engage.
7. Payments, fees, and taxes
Payments are processed by Stripe. For bookings and staffing gigs, the paying party authorizes a charge for the agreed amount, and CleanerFlow may deduct a platform fee before funds are released to the provider or professional. For fixed positions, a one-time placement fee may apply.
All amounts are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for your own taxes; CleanerFlow does not withhold taxes and, where required by law, may issue tax forms reflecting amounts paid through the platform.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Bookings and gigs are subject to the cancellation windows and refund rules shown at the time of booking. Refunds, where due, are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. CleanerFlow may, at its discretion, help mediate disputes but is not obligated to issue refunds beyond the stated policy.
9. Ratings, reviews, and content
After a completed job, users may rate and review one another. You agree that your ratings, reviews, profile text, photos, and other content are accurate, lawful, and yours to share. You grant CleanerFlow a non-exclusive license to display that content within the Services. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
- misrepresent your identity, business, qualifications, or eligibility;
- circumvent fees or move transactions off-platform to avoid them;
- harass, discriminate against, or endanger other users;
- post false or misleading listings, offers, applications, or reviews;
- scrape, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services.
11. Verification and background checks
CleanerFlow may offer identity-verification or background-check badges. These checks are performed by third parties, reflect information available at a point in time, and are not a guarantee of any user's character, conduct, or suitability. Users should always exercise their own judgment.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CleanerFlow does not warrant the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any cleaning service, gig, or position arranged through the marketplace, nor the conduct, accuracy, or reliability of any user. You use the Services and engage other users at your own risk.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanerFlow and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or any interaction with another user. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the fees CleanerFlow earned from the transaction at issue or US$100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CleanerFlow harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, your interactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
15. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes between you and CleanerFlow will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Disputes between users about a job, a payment, or the quality of work are between those users; CleanerFlow is not a party to them.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
